NAOMI BINGHAM

Naomi joined the practice shortly after Derek opened it in 2007, this was initially in an administrative role but Naomi soon began enjoying dentistry and becoming increasingly involved in all aspects of the practice.

Naomi had no prior experience in dentistry or business, with her only qualification a BSc (hons) in Politics being irrelevant to the situation she now found herself in Naomi completed an Advanced Diploma in Business Management from the University of Ulster and then shortly after, the NEBDN Diploma in Dental Nursing.

Naomi has worked in all possible roles within the practice- (not as a dentist or a hygienist, although much to everyone else’s annoyance she does like to think she knows as much) nowadays where possible Naomi works behind the scenes managing our marketing and business development. Heavily supported by Natasha and Nicole, Naomi has been able to reduce her involvement in the day to day running of the practice.

Naomi is passionate about all team members reaching their full potential and likes to work closely with the team to encourage professional and personal development, she enjoys were possible making opportunities for everyone in the team to up-skill and find fulfilment in their role. Naomi is responsible for the interior design of the practice- where she tries to use the features of the listed buildings to make the practice less clinical and more inviting for our nervous patients.

Outside of work Naomi enjoys cooking for friends and family. She does not enjoy but spends a lot of time being a taxi service to her girls! Naomi loves a crafting hobby- and Natasha is living to regret buying her a ‘cricut’ machine a couple of Christmas’ ago as all the accessories have taken over upstairs in the Hygiene building!
