Emma White

Emma first joined the practice in 2014 as a trainee dental nurse

She completed her NEBDN Diploma in Dental nursing and quickly succeeded with her NEBDN Certificate in Conscious Sedation. Not long after that, she ran away to the bright lights of London and to Queen Marys University to complete her Hygiene Therapy Degree.

A few months after she graduated and returned to Northern Ireland, we were able to call upon her to ‘save the day’ when Rachael our resident hygienist of 9 years took a maternity break and subsequently decided not to return.

Having worked as a dental nurse for many years for both Derek and Rachael, Emma’s experience and understanding of Moira Cosmetic Dental and our clinical expectations could not have been an easier fit.

Having grown up in Moira and having worked on our reception after a horse-riding incident in 2015 left her unable to nurse temporarily, Emma and our patients were already well acquainted before she returned as Dental Hygienist. Emma is enthusiastic and is looking forward to increasing her skill set in this role as she did in her previous role.

Emma has already undertaken training and begun offering facial aesthetics to her patients and looks forward to growing that area of her work. Emma’s previous sedation training is a huge benefit to us and patients when delivering care to nervous patients.

Emma has maintained her registered Dental Nurse and Sedation Nurse status with the GDC with the addition of her Hygiene Therapy Degree.

In her spare time Emma has an envious amount of remarkably interesting and exciting hobbies which include horse riding, eating out, lovely holidays and most recently taking golf lessons!
